The original Northern Lights genotype has been famous for decades as a source of industry-changing strains and individuals like NL#1, NL#2, and NL#5, as well as important hybrids like NL 5x2, Shiva Skunk, Hash Plant, Silver Pearl, and Northern Lights #5 XHazes. Northern Lights Automatic was bred from the same rock solid gene pool by crossing NL#5 and NL#2 with our best feminized autoflowering indicas, which in turn were crossed with the NL parents.
Like most of her family, Northern Lights Automatic is typically grown indoors under lights, although this strain can also thrive very well outdoors in a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate. Indoors or outdoors, NL Automatic can go from germination to harvest in as little as 11 weeks!
Flowering usually starts 20-30 days after the seedlings emerge from the soil, regardless of the photoperiod, and the flowering phase of NL Auto is complete in 50-60 days. Indoor growers who provide more light hours per day (e.g. 18 hours instead of 14) can complete the flowering phase a little faster, but the difference is usually negligible. Northern Lights Automatic typically reaches a height of 60-90cm by harvest.
Northern Lights Automatic carries on the traditions of their classic ancestors. She produces fast, solid harvests with surprisingly little growing odour. Nonetheless, her buds are sweetly scented and remarkably powerful due to her thick coating of THC-rich trichomes!
