Legendary for its sweet bubblegum smell and euphoric high. Bubble Gum grows into a medium-sized plant that is usually not too branchy (sometimes tall) and produces compact, crystal-covered buds. Plants grown from seed are very similar to each other. Originally, the Bubblegum strain was developed by breeders in Indiana, USA. Later, these original genetics came to the Netherlands and were passed on to two different seed companies. Each has developed their own 'Original Bubble Gum' from this genetic material. More sativa in appearance and effect, Bubble Gum by Serious Seeds is a robust and vigorous plant with the characteristic sweet smell (really resembling a typical bubble gum taste) and the euphoric high - the original hallmarks of this famous strain. The only inbred strain (not an F1 hybrid) in the Serious menu. Bubble Gum has won 11 awards at High Times Cannabis Cups and similar festivals. In 2004 and 2005 she won 5 local and national cups in Spain alone! In 2006, Bubble Gum received its best award. It was named 'Plant of the Year' by 'Soft Secrets' magazine because many Spanish growers won local competitions that year with the same plant: Bubble Gum. In September 2016, Bubble Gum feminized seeds won third place in the Sativa category at the Expogrow Cup 2016 in Irun, Spain. The legendary sweet strawberry taste of this strain is well expressed in the plants grown from feminized seeds! Bubble Gum is the mother plant of the legendary Strawberry Banana produced by Crockett Family Farms.
